Medarot R Parts Collection was released in 2000 for the Sony PlayStation as an add-on game for Medarot R. Like the other Parts Collections, it is a side game where the player Robattles many Medarotters and collects parts, which can then be traded to the main game.
General information[edit]
This game differs from other Part Collections in that it lacks a storyline, relying solely on Medarot R's Medalink system. In this system, players begin at rank 100 and must engage in battles to ascend in rank, ultimately aiming to achieve the top position as the number one Medarotter.
While the Medarotters' positions mirror those in Medarot R's Medalink, their teams may include different Medarots, providing players with a wider range of parts to obtain.
In contrast to Medarot R, where you face opponents in Medalink only once, Medarot R Part Collections allows you to rematch lower-ranked Medarotters as many times as desired.

There were 102 new Medarots created for Medarot R. The game also contains the 60 Medarots from Medarot 1 and 91 from Medarot 2, bringing the grand total up to 253.
