Medarot Classics is a compilation game for the Nintendo 3DS that includes the first five Medarot games for Game Boy and Game Boy Color. It was released on December 21, 2017.

It was released in two versions, Kabuto and Kuwagata, which contained the Kabuto and Kuwagata versions of the collected games respectively.

The games can be played in any order, and are unmodified from their original releases (no bug fixes or changes).

Extra features

Medarot Classics adds a few extra features:

• Save states - For saving/loading at any time, limited to one save slot per game.
• Robottle skip - The option to automatically win any battle from the pre-battle screen.
• Meda-Album - Available on the main menu, lets you view the sprites and stats of Medarots you've collected in each game.
• New game+ - Available after clearing a game, you have the option to restart it while keeping all of the parts you collected.
• Multiplayer - Trade and battle over local wireless. (Added in the 2.0 update patch, requires two 3DS systems and two copies of Medarot Classics.)
• Double speed mode - Play the games at 2x speed. (Originally only available on New 3DS systems, support for original 3DS systems was added in the 2.0 update patch.)
