Medarot Cardrobottle is a Card Game RPG based on the world of Medarot 2, featuring the same characacters but in a different context. Instead of Robattles, Card Robattles are all the rage here, and the main protagonist is an original character exclusive to this game.

Like all Medarot games, it is split into a Kabuto and Kuwagata Version, with Kabuto players starting with the part cards of Metabee and a R1 Kabuto Medal card with the Kabuto Basic Kit, and Kuwagata players starting with the part cards of Rokushou and a R1 Kuwagata Medal card with the Kuwagata Basic Kit.

Gameplay[edit]

The scenario progresses by selecting the facility you want to go to from the area map and playing card fights with various Medarotters. Basically, by winning and earning points, you can improve your ranking and take higher ranking exams.

If you clear the rank-up exam, your rank will increase and you can move on to the next map. Players start at rank C and aim to win the tournaments that they can participate in by reaching rank A.

Beast Master and Samurai can be obtained by a missable series of ingame events triggered at certain points of time.

Differences from the Medarot Card Game[edit]

  • While it contains all of the cards found in the physical card game, the game also adds several characters and Medarots from Medarot 2. It was also split into a Kabuto and Kuwagata version, with each version starting with cards from its respective basic kit. Many regular cards were also made version exclusive.
  • New Medarotter Cards have been added, including not only the main characters such as "Ikki" and "Arika" who also appear in this work, but also unexpected characters such as "Margarita" and "Fuyun Yosai".
  • The concept of Assets/Price, which allows parts to be exchanged during battle, is introduced as an element not found in the original game.
  • In this game, cards traded on Robotle require advance bets. You can choose to submit one card from your deck starter or choose one at random. If you win, you will receive points based on the rarity of the card you bet on and your current rank. These points themselves determine the current rank and are used as funds to purchase cards such as booster packs.
  • Significant changes in rules and names. Specifically, the parts related to putting energy into play, deciding the order of Medarots actions, and action details have been changed. The rules have been greatly simplified and are easier to understand than the original TCG.

  • Addition of elements in parts card collection. If you collect 4 parts cards of a certain Medarot and complete the Medarot set, you can see the illustration of that model. Originally, the TCG version included not only the above cards, but also a card with an illustration of a medabot called the "completed form". The designs are from "completed" cards that cannot be used in games. In addition, new images have been prepared for the game original cards that appear in Medarot 2.
