Kantaros (カンタロス), known in English as Kantaroth is the third rhino beetle-type Medarot that first appeared in Medarot R.

Description

It is an upgraded version of Metabee, with a blockier appearance and a duller color. Out of all of the various upgraded forms of Metabee, it appears most similar to the basic Metal Beetle design.

Its model number is now KBT-3BF.

In Medarot 8

Kantaros makes a reappearance in Medarot 8 as a DLC-exclusive Medarot. It appears along with Mach Massive and Rollstar in the first DLC mission, which can be downloaded for free.

Its model number is now KBT03.

In the anime

Kantaros is Rintarou’s Medarot. In his first appearance, he is mistaken for Metabee, causing trouble for Ikki and his partner due to Rintarou’s overzealousness and disregard for protocol in Robottle.

He makes a cameo in Medarot Damashii, appearing as a character in a TV show. The scene shown in the TV belongs to the Medarotter Rintarou! manga.
