Rifle (ライフル) is a basic attack present in every Medarot game.

Rifle attacks involve firing a single shot at the enemy, doing damage without any added effects. In terms of mechanics, it works very similarly to Gatling.

General effects[edit]

Rifle attacks are always ranged (using the Shoot and Snipe skills), and generally fill the role of fast and simple shooting attacks. Compared to Gatling attacks, Rifle parts tend to be faster and less powerful, but the stats can vary greatly depending on the part and slower and more damaging Rifle attacks do exist.

In Medarot 1, 2, R, and 2 Core, Rifle parts have the Shooting attribute, while in Medarot 3-5 they usually have the Speed attribute. Both attributes make them highly compatible with the Kabuto Medal.

In Medarot 7[edit]

Rifle attacks now gain the ability to pierce multiple parts if the power value of the part is 40 or higher (including points gained from Medal compatibility). The CF attack version is CF Rifle.

Medarot 7 also introduced a more powerful version of the attack called Heavy Rifle.

In Medarot Dual[edit]

Rifle is the most basic shooting attack available, firing a single shot straight towards the targeted enemy. Most Rifle parts are not very powerful, but they are fast to fire and make the opponent flinch when the attack hits, cancelling their attack.

In Medarot 8[edit]

It works the same as in Medarot 7, but now in addition to Medal compatibility bonuses, the power of the part can be affected by the Charge gauge, the Medal's Robottle style, and other factors.
