HellPhoenix (ヘルフェニックス), known simply as Phoenix in the English version, is a phoenix-type Medarot that first appeared in the original Medarot game.

Description[edit]

Based on a mythological phoenix, HellPhoenix is a bird-like Medarot equipped with powerful flamethrowers on its arms and beak. Its leg parts are designed for flight, and its design features a distinctive red rope tail that trails behind it through the air.

It was renamed Phoenix in the English releases.

In the games[edit]

HellPhoenix is a flying Medarot that specializes in Fire attacks, capable of inflicting the Burn status effect to cause lingering damage to its opponents. In Medarot 1, 2, R, and 2 Core, its parts have the Burn attribute, making it an obvious choice for use with the Phoenix Medal.

In Medarot 1[edit]

HellPhoenix is the sole user of Fire attacks in Medarot 1, and one of the two Medarots in the game capable of causing the Burn status effect (the other being Teepee). It is also the main Medarot used by the leader of the RoboRobo Gang, Typhoon.

Its parts can be obtained from random battles, or bought from the convenience store outside of the Medarot Company building.

In Medarot 2[edit]

HellPhoenix's parts are not normally obtainable in Medarot 2, and must be transferred over from Medarot 1. It was replaced by the new PHX-type, DeathPhoenix.

In Medarot R[edit]

Is obtainable from the Part Collection by fighting だんし that is ranked opponent number 31.

Metabee Shot[edit]

A HellPhoenix is one of the selectable opponent in Metabee Shot.

Robattle 3D[edit]

Phoenix is one of the Medabots featured in Robattle 3D.

In Medabots AX[edit]

HellPhoenix appears as Hiro's leader Medarot, while his partner is either Kanehachi Mk2 or Marine Killer with Belzelga's legs equipped.

In Medarot 2 Core[edit]

HellPhoenix was included in the place of DeathPhoenix. It is commonly used by lady Medarotters, and can also be found in floor 3 of the castle on Medabot island/Fuyuun Fortress (used by flying-type Medarots).

In Medarot Brave[edit]

Quote: Take my red-hot fire attack! If you can feel my beat, your heart will be on fire!

In Medarot DS[edit]

Its model number is now PHX00-M.
