Leg type is a stat found on all leg parts in the Medarot video games. It refers to the style of movement the leg part uses, and determines the Medarot's effectiveness on different types of terrain.
Types
There are seven leg types, which have remained consistant across the entire series:
- Bipedal - Walks/runs on two legs.
- Multi-leg - Walks/runs/crawls on a different number of legs.
- Wheeled - Rolls on wheels.
- Flying - Flies through the air.
- Aquatic - Swims through water.
- Hover - Floats above the ground.
- Tank - Moves on tank treads.
Effects
In most games, Medarots gain a bonus to their stats if they are using a leg type that matches the terrain the battle takes place on, including a considerable boost to their movement speed. They take a stat penalty if the legs are a poor match for the terrain, making them an easier target for compatible Medarots. Flying and Aquatic leg parts tend to have high stats but make the Medarot highly vulnerable to Anti-Air and Anti-Sea attacks.
