Virgo (ヴァルゴ) is a Virgo-type Medarot that first appeared in Medarot Navi. It is the signature Medarot of Kirika, one of the Space Robo Generals. Its name and appearance are based upon Virgo the Virgin, sixth sign of the Western Zodiac; it also borrows from the Sirens of Greek mythology.

Description[edit]

Virgo's actions place it squarely into a defensive support role. Its Head part allows it to dispense Negate Explosive unto itself and its allies, making Missile and Napalm attacks ineffective. Both of its Arms possess the Force Plant ability, raising allies' Medaforce. Its Vehicle legs give it extreme mobility across man-made City and Town terrain.

Once contact is made with the enemy, Virgo becomes capable of Power Medachange: its gel-like body expands while all solid portions seemingly melt away, leaving only the liquid form with three intimidating red eyes. In this form Virgo can protect its allies with Lesser Defense or place Fighting and Shooting Traps. It also gains the Sea leg type, possessing the highest Evasion of any Medarot in the game (maxed out at 99).

In the games[edit]

In Medarot Navi[edit]

Virgo and her Medarotter, the Space Robo general Kirika, are first met in a desert Coliseum. Thanks to Navi's module Security mechanic, Kirika and Virgo will likely be met in Robottle many times outside of their scripted appearances (of which there are three before the final act begins).
