Papylunia is one of 2 special Medarots that are obtained based on how many Communication Battles (Player Vs. Player battles) have been fought, regardless of their outcomes, Yulia being the other one. All of Papylunia's parts are obtained after the 40th battle, in the battle outcome screen still.

Battle-wise, it is a Medarot with focus on Disruption, so all of its parts manipulate the enemy in some way: Its head parts inflicts Confusion to an enemy, and its Arms both inflict a Behavior Induction negative status, which forces all actions of the inflicted Medarot to be of the same part (Head, R-Arm, L-Arm) as the one that was used to inflict the condition. It will force it regardless of whenever the part is broken or not, or how many head uses it has, but the action will still fail if the forced part is broken or out of uses.
