Welcome to a guide for Medarot Navi, one of the main series Medarot games. It was released before Medarot 5 for the Gameboy Advance/ Gameboy SP. Now a few years ago, it was rereleased on the Nintendo Switch on Medarot Classics + .

Battle Guide[edit]

Fights in this game are kinda like plying chess. You have to run by selecting your patner's leg part and select where you want him/her to go.

You have a limited amount of Action Points (AP), allowing you to attack. After the turn is up, the excess energy becomes Medaforce Energy, allowing your partner to unleash powerful attacks, support allies quickly, and use powerful defenses.

Hidden Medarot[edit]

There are a few Medaparts hidden in chests and when you get them all, you'll be able to use that Medarot.

Main Story[edit]

Prologue[edit]

You start off playing as Kasumi Asano, an introverted boy that is interested in Medarot.

Kasumi then boots up his Medarotch, prompting him to register his name in the Medarotch. Keep it as Kasumi for now. Kasumi then sets up has partner, whose default name is Far East.

You got:

GLF-0NF -- Windclap

Head: GLF-01NF -- Giganto Beak

Right Arm: GLF-02NF - Gust Claw

Left Arm: GLF-03NF - Blast Claw

Legs: GLF-04NF - Grabnail

Your partner is a Windclap, notably having an East Medal.

He is meant for Shooting and Melee, making him a useful leader against medarot like Trap Spider and Excise, as only one type of trap can be used.

Hiyori, Kasumi's close friend comes in, offering Kasumi a look at the newcomer Shiden Murasame. However Kasumi isn't worried about him and asks Hiyori why she keeps getting wierd things from the Internet, annoying her. Hiyori leaves with her friend to see Shiden.

Kasumi can leave the room, but first, let's go to the bottom left of the classroom and open the Item Box there:

You got the head part:

ELF-01BF: Trample!

this is the first part of Megaphant, a Hidden Medarot in this game.

Leave the room and encounter Mizore and Goutetsu, two bullies that tormented Kasumi before. Goutetsu drops the hint that his Medabot is slow and Mizore arrogantly says that his Medarot closes in on foes.

Battle 1 ---> Goutetsu and Bugstink

This is your first chance here to get Bugstink's parts.

Opponent: STN-0NF(Bugstink)

  • (Strategy)

You've got Far East to help you, so beat up Bugstink with the Gust Claw, which is a Sword attack, and use it repeatedly. Finish him with the Blast Claw, which is a Rifle attck if you want to.

Goutetsu groans, and Mizore goes out to fight:

Battle 2 ---> Mizore and Sickle Cutter

First chance to get a Sickle Cutter part.

Opponent: Sickle Cutter

  • (Strategy)

Run from him and shoot him with the Blast Claw quickly, you can't beat him hand to hand as Far East will get hurt. Shoot him from far away and if you get lucky you might shut down one of his parts.

Mizore steals Kasumi's Medal and flees bragging how mush he'd gained something, leaving Kasumi dejected.

Go to the old school after Kasumi hears a strange voice, and instead of going to the hole in the floor, go to the top right of the room and find the only Item Box you see there and open it.

You got:

ELF-04NF: Crush Legs!

Go straight to the hole and fall in. Kasumi will comment on the fact that he'll never doubt Hiyori's trinkets that she'd bought from the Internet.

Get the Medal that you find and enter a cutscene with Shiden.

You got:

  • (Kabuto)

Kabuto Medal

Default name: Granbeetle

Likes Shooting, Sniping and Formation parts

  • (Kuwagata)

Kuwagata Medal

Default name: Sonic Stag

Likes Strike, Reckless and Protect parts.

  • Note: I named my Granbeetle / Sonic Stag as Kantaros(カンタロス) / Mach Massive(マッハマッシブ) for the time being.
