Medarot

Rokusho was originally the Medarot companion of Dr. Gengoro Fushihara, a respected scientist and Medarot researcher, along with the robotic parrot Baton. Their happy life together abruptly ended when a fire consumed Fushihara's home, seemingly claiming the doctor's life and causing Baton to vanish. Left alone, Rokusho began wandering, wearing a ragged brown cloak and occasionally assisting those in need.

Metabee and Ikki Tenryou first encountered Rokusho when they witnessed him rescuing a dog from drowning. Although Metabee eagerly sought a Robattle with Rokusho, the Stag Beetle-type warrior didn't believe in battling for amusement. Instead, he offered Metabee advice during their subsequent Robattle. Rokusho later befriended a widow who cherished a tree her late husband had cared for and defended it from the RoboRobo Gang.

Rokusho's life took an unexpected turn when he was reunited with Baton, who revealed that Dr. Medarot had caused the fire that led to Dr. Fushihara's apparent demise. Fueled by anger, Rokusho sought revenge, ultimately unlocking the power of the Medaforce during a confrontation with Metabee. Despite defeating Metabee, Rokusho was captured by the RoboRobo Gang, only to be rescued after Metabee unlocked his own Medaforce abilities. It was then revealed that Baton's memories had been manipulated by Dr. Hebereke, the true culprit behind Fushihara's supposed death. Rokusho, accompanied by Baton, set out to investigate their creator's research, receiving a new white cloak from Dr. Medarot's granddaughter Karin before departing. They eventually uncovered the truth that Medarots originated from an ancient civilization predating humanity, challenging the long-held belief that Dr. Fushihara was their original creator.

During Operation: Beetle Mania, a scheme orchestrated by Dr. Hebereke that caused Medarots with clone Kabuto Medals to malfunction, Rokusho rejoined Metabee and his allies. Leading the group, he confronted Belzelgas and, recognizing them as innocents controlled by evil Medarotters, guided the team to Metabee. Dr. Hebereke acknowledged Rokusho's possession of a Rare Medal, a key element in resisting his machinery. Teaming up with Arcbeetle and Space Medarotter X, the trio battled against a formidable Giant Emperor Medarot, albeit unsuccessfully, leaving Ikki and Metabee to face the threat alone.

In the Robattle World Tournament, Rokusho returned determined to thwart Dr. Hebereke's plans. However, like other Medarots, he fell under the influence of the Medaforce effect, experiencing a vision of an ancient Medarot civilization where he served as a general leading Solin Medarots against General Metabee and his Bayonets. The conflict resulted in their civilization's downfall, with only Metabee surviving. After the vision dissipated, Rokusho joined forces with the other Medarots to stop Dr. Hebereke.

Rokusho isn't seen again after the end of the first anime, with his upgraded model, Dorcus, being a completely different character in the sequel.
