Cybister (サイビスター) is a diving beetle-type Medarot that appears in Medarot 9.

Description

Cybister is based on the Japanese diving beetle, Cybister japonicus, also known as a "gengorou" in Japan. Its head part forms the beetle's body, while its leg parts represent the head and jaws. Cybister is well-suited for battling in aquatic environments, and fights using disrupting attacks from its sickle-like arm parts.

In Medarot 9

Cybister is an aquatic-type Medarot with a Mobile Boost action on its head and Bug attacks on its arms. The right arm has the Berserk sub-skill and the left has Anti-Sea.

It can be fought as a stray Medarot in the mountain stream area in the Kabuto version of the game (Kuwagata players encounter Mekong Narrob instead.)
