- Hikaru Agata - The Protagonist. His initial Medarot is Metal Beetle or Head Scissors depending on the version.
- Bonaparte - Hikaru's dog.
- Kirara - Hikaru's childhood friend and classmate. Her primary Medarot is Sailormate. She is one of the two romantic options for Hikaru.
- Paddy - Hikaru's classmate. Her primary Medarot is Betty Bear.
- Iseki - Hikaru's classmate. Her primary Medarot is Magentacat.
- Kubota - Hikaru's classmate. His primary Medarot is Yellowturtle.
