Blackstag (ブラックスタッグ), known in English as Black-Stag, is a stag beetle-type Medarot that first appears in Medarot 3 as an alternate female version of Dorcus.

Description[edit]

Blackstag looks like Dorcus, but is skinnier, Bright blue and dark blue, instead of grey colors, and has yellow eyes. Also, she has an eyepatch on her right eye.

Similar to Blackbeetle over Saikachis, Blackstag is stronger but slower compared to Dorcus, and her medachange uses the same weapons, sacrificing speed for power. She can fly, unlike Dorcus where he gains four legs.

Blackstag also has slightly stronger parts than Dorcus and are more successful, despite the fact her right eye was damaged.

Blackstag's model number is technically the same as Dorcus (KWG-5) but with its parts numbers starting from KWG-55 to KWG-59. Due to other KWG-Types not appearing, it is given the model number KWG-35 in Medarot 3.

Careful when you robottle her, though, as her Drive C is a very powerful and further strengthened by her speed. (Damage:77+92/2=123)

It makes a reapperance in the game's postgame in the Kuwagata Version, where it, together with Ikki and Mizuchi, fight multiple DVL-Series Medarots, ultimately joining him after defeating Belzelga for the 4th and last time, Giving the player all of its parts and its B Kuwagata Medal. Because its personality is the polar opposite of Ikki's Rokusho, it behaves in a similar fashion to Metabee from the Kabuto version of the game.

The default name for that Medal is Lukani. After she is activated, she will asks you to retrieve other M-Drives, as tasked by Azuma's father.

In Medarot Dual[edit]

In the Kuwagata version, Blackstag is the Medarot of the Medarotter Ranked n°2, Sakhalin. He can be fought during the Postgame in the Chidori park and he fights alongside Amazo Azalea, Medarotter Ranked n°101 and her Rhinorush.

Win this battle and you'll win the Rank 2, as well as making Sakhalin your partner and unlocking the mission that will have you face Kohaku Himuro, who holds the n°1 Rank.

In Medarot 8[edit]

The "C" was added at the end of its model number to signify having a Medachange.
