Description[edit]
This template should be used on all uploaded images showing a single Medarot's official artwork. It places the above box in the image's description, as well as automatically categorizing it under Category:Medarot official art and the appropriate subcategories. You will need to enter the type of image (see below) for the image to be categorized properly.
Medarot art may come from print sources (books or magazines) or digital sources (official websites, news sites, game files, etc.). For images from print sources, both scans and photos are acceptable, but high-quality scans are preferred. For digital sources, the file should either be unmodified or saved in .png format to preserve the image quality.
On this wiki, Medarot official art is also categorized based on whether or not it has a blank (transparent or white) background, to make it easier for users to find those kinds of images. Edits of print/digital images that remove the backgrounds may also be uploaded, but edits that "fill in" missing or unknown details will not be allowed.
To use this template, simply type {{medarotart-fairuse|type of image goes here}} in the summary box when uploading the image. Currently, the possible options are:

For example, if you're uploading artwork saved from the Medarotters Fanclub website (.png files with transparent backgrounds), you would enter {{medarotart-fairuse|digital-clean}}. Please be sure to also include the image source template to state where you found the image or where it was scanned/saved from (if you know), and mention if you have edited any parts of the image.
(You can also add/change the templates after uploading by editing the image's page, but please try to get it right the first time!)
