Description[edit]

This is an infobox template for use on Medal pages. It automatically categorizes the page under Category:Medals.

To use the template, put the following text at the top of the article and fill in the applicable sections (see below) and remove the lines for the ones that don't apply for that Medal. If you don't know what to put for a section, write ???.

{{Infobox Medal
| name =
| name-j =
| name-r =
| image =
| letter =
| attribute =
| skills =
| nature =
| style =
| target =
| legs =
| appear =
}}

Not all sections apply for every Medal.

  • Name - Write the name of the Medal. (Use the original names, not the ones from the official English release.)
    • For name-j, write the original name in Japanese text. (eg. ネコ)
    • For name-r, write the romaji (the Japanese name in english letters). (eg. Neko)
  • Letter - Applies for Medals in games prior to Medarot DS. Write the letter shown at the top of the Medal.
  • Attribute - Applies for Medals prior to Medarot DS. List the attributes (categories of parts) that the Medal is compatible with. Most Medals only have one.
  • Skills - Applies for Medals that appear in 3, 4, 5, Navi, DS, and later RPGs. Write the 3 skills that the Medal can gain points in, seperated by /'s.
  • Nature - Applies for Medals in games prior to Medarot 7, excluding 2 Core and Shingata. Write the Medal's "Nature", which decides which parts it targets.
  • Style - Applies for Medals in Medarot 7 and later games. Write the Medal's "Robottle style", which decides the parts it targets and other effects.
  • Target - Applies for Medals that appear in 2 Core and Shingata. Write the skill that the Medal will try to target.
  • Legs - Applies for Medals in Medarot DS and later games. Write the leg type the Medal is combatible with for DS, and use Template:Medal leg icons for Medals in 7, 8, and 9.
  • Appear - List the video games and media that the Medal appears in, in order of release.

If a Medal has details that change depending on the game (i.e. two different attributes), the entries should be seperated with a <br/> to make them appear on seperate lines, and the abbreviation for the game (or games) should be included in brackets after each line.

Advanced[edit]

If the picture you want to use is too large vertically, you can use it with this line:

| resize = yes

...placed after the line for the image to bring it down to a reasonable size.

If the picture is wider than it is tall (as is the case for some screenshots), this line should be used instead:

| resize-width = yes

Categorization[edit]

If you don't want the template to categorize the page it's on under Category:Medals, add |cat=false.
