Select Medal

The Select Medal (セレクトメダル) is a type of Medal featured in Medarot 1. It is advertised by the Select Corps as being protected against theft by the RoboRobo Gang and being highly efficient, making it easy to raise. However, it turned out that the Select Medal was a ruse by the RoboRobo Gang who, after breaking Hikaru Agata's Medal, activated the Rampage System inside the Select HQ. This made all Medarots equipped with the Select Medal attack humans indiscriminately. After HIiaru shut down the Rampage System, Medarots with the Select Medal stopped attacking people.

The Select Medal is purely a story concept and is not usable in gameplay.

• Medarot's data includes an unused pointer for a "Select Medal" (non-Medal) item, suggesting it was originally planned to be able to collect one.
