Similar to the system in Medarot 5, Medals in Medarot 8 can evolve into multiple forms with different names. See the bottom of the page and individual Medal pages for more information. They are listed in the same order as the Medal Album.

Evolved forms

Medals may evolve into new forms (changing their name, appearance, and abilities) if they meet specific skill level requirements when they reach level 18 (silver rank) or level 36 (gold rank). The requirements are different for each Medal, and not all basic Medals have them.

If you miss the requirements for an evolution, you can use the Skill Down and Skill Reset items (sold in Atlantica Park and Aurora Falls) to lower the Medarot's total level below 18 or 36, and then level it up with the requirements met to get the evolution. Due to some Medals having branching evolution paths, this method is necessary for filling in part of the Medal list.
