Kagamiyama (Sloan in English translations) is a recurring character in the Medarot franchise, introduced in Medarot 2. He is a member of The Screws. Beside his loyalty to Kikuhime, Kagamiyama's main character trait is his obsession with cleanliness and doing laudry.

As a Medarotter, he favors slow-moving but powerful and heavily-armored Medarots, with his primary medarot being Keithturtle.

Medarot 2

Kagamiyama appears early in Medarot 2, having won the school's annual Robattle contest with is fellow Screws. When Ikki challenges The Screws, he is the first to go up against him, deploying Keithturtle. He is defeated and runs away when Ikki's medarot unleashes the Medaforce.

After Kouji comes to the school to look for the individual who has been "tickling" girls with a Medarot, he mistakes the Screws as the perpetrators and challenges them to a Robattle. He easily defeats their Medarots and Kagamiyama runs away with the other Screws, hiding in a class on the second floor.

When Kikuhime decides to investigate the rumors of a ghost Medarot at Mt. Odoro, Kagamiyama goes with her. Inside Mt. Odoro's Marsh, he is found blocking a path leading to Kikuhime and challenges Ikki to a Robattle, this time using Keithturle and a Bottomflash. After he is defeated, Kagamiyama throws several rocks to block Ikki's path, which must be destroyed with different Medarot parts. Once all the rocks have been destroyed, he is found again on the 2nd floor and must be defeated in another robattle with the same Medarot roster.

In the tournament on Medarot Island, he is is Ikki's third opponent in the Block B heats, using Keithturtle and two Bottomflashs.

Medarot 3

At the beginning of Medarot 3, Kagamiyama and The Screws are bothering Arika. When Ikki appears to provide her some back-up, Kagamiyama tries to challenge him but his Rickturtle runs off to play with a nearby bed of flowers instead.

After Ikki steps out of the abandoned factory, Kagamiyama can be found sleeping in his house, having a nightmare about mites making holes in his laundry. When spoken to, he challenges Ikki to a Robattle with Rickturtle.

In Chapter 2, he and The Screws challenge Ikki to a Robattle with Noctocat, Rickturtle and Purple Collar as a distraction to steal his badge to the academy. Once in the academy, he steals a badge from one of the students and hides in a room (first vertical door to the left) on the first floor. Once Ikki finds him, he initiates a Robattle using Rickturtle and Centipade, but is defeated and gives back the badge. After Iwanoi is also defeated, they regroup with Kikuhime and challenge Ikki to another Robattle with The Screw's three main medarots.

Medabots AX

Karin is the eleventh opponent in the Tournament, using two Keithturtles.

In the anime

Medarot

Kagamiyama is a recurring character in the original Medarot anime, portrayed as a member of The Screws and assisting Kikuhime in her antics. He does not speak much and does not share his game counterpart's obsession with laundry.

Medarot Damashii

He appears in a similar capacity in the sequel Medarot Damashii, often taking part in Kikuhime's schemes to gain favor with Kokuryuu Kamizake.

In the mangas

Fox Kids Annual 2004

Kagamiyama and The Screws steal the medal of Sugar Princess and taunts Ikki when he tries to look into the matter. When Metabee easily destroy their new Medarot Tankar, Kagamiya runs away.
