Go for Gold! Becoming the World's Best!

Prologue

  1. The story begins
  2. Decide on the main characters name. The default is Ikki.
  3. The main character's Medabot wakes them up.
  4. Decide on the main character's Medabot's name. The defaults are Metabee (Kabuto Ver.) and Rokusho (Kuwagata Ver.)
  5. Go down to the first floor, your mother will give you an errand to fetch a pack of eggs. Gain 5000¥.
  6. Leave the house.


Going to the convenience store for eggs

  1. Go to the convenience store to buy eggs. The convenience store is the building with a sign saying "24," two buildings up from your home.
  2. Talk to Hikaru.
  3. Get an Egg Carton from the shelves at the back and pay for them at the register.
  4. Talk to Erika.
  5. Obtain information on the Medalympics from the TV show, Medabots Weekly.


Following Erika to the park

  1. After leaving the convenience store, go to the park surrounded by greenery right to the left.
  2. Speak with Erika from below.
  3. Watch the Medabot assembly tutorial.

This is the first robattle in the game. Be aware of the following downsides of powerful attacks:
A snipe attack will make it so you can not avoid enemy attacks until your next action.
A berserk attack will make it so you can not defend or evade until your next action.
A strike attack will make it so you can not defend until your next action.


Taking the pack of eggs home

  1. After beating the Screws, everyone's Medabot data is mysteriously lost.
  2. After parting ways, return home to drop off the egg carton.
  3. After giving the egg carton to your mom, go upstairs.
  4. Sit in the chair in front of your PC.
  5. After talking to your dad, you receive 3,000¥.


Report events to the Medabot Laboratory

  1. After leaving your home, go to the Medabot Laboratory, located above the convenience store.
  2. Enter the building and proceed straight on through a door in the back. Then go through the door to the left.
  3. Talk to Dr. Aki.
  4. After talking to Dr. Aki, go back to the room to the right and then the room above.
  5. Talk to Ms. Nae.
  6. Receive Ten Medallias from Ms. Nae and then One Medal from the room to the right.
  • Obtained Medalias

Following Erika to Ginjo Elementary

  1. After leaving the Medabot Laboratory, go to the left of the convenience store to Ginjo Elementary School
  2. After talking to Erika, explore the grounds.
  • Exploration order:
    1. Talk to the sudent in the upper right classroom on the first floor. When a student by the window tells you about the test scores changing, go to the staff room.
    2. Enter the staff room to the left of the entrance on the first floor, and talk to the female teacher in the upper left.
    3. After leaving the staff room, enter the room just to the right and have two fight robattle with the boy.
    4. Enter the upper left classroom on the second floor and encounter something small. Leave the classroom after the dialogue.
    5. Go to the classroom on at the bottom of the second floor, just to the right of the center aisle, and talk to Erika.


Searching the abandoned factory

  1. After following Erika out of the school, go the the Abandoned Factory located at the upper left corner of Riverview Town.
  2. Talk to Erika in front of the entrance.
  3. Enter the factory.
  4. Battle the white coat, Shiratama.
  5. Obtain Leg: Treasured Child and a Rubberobo Medal from the two chests at the back of the factory.
  6. Examine the hole in the back.
  7. Go outside the factory.

Rubberobo Medals:
Each Rubberobo Medal will allow you to skip one random robattle.


The Rubberobos' Executive, Gillgirl, arrives

  1. Erika tells you to go to the school.
  2. Talk to the Rubberobo Executive Gillgirl at the schoolyard.
  3. Leave the school.


Obtaining the MiniMini Machine

  1. Encounter the Rubberobo Gang in front of the laboratory.
  2. Receive the Mini-mini Machine from Shiratama.
  3. Deliver the Mini-mini Machine to Dr. Aki at the laboratory.
  4. After leaving the laboratory, robattle with Erika.


Going to Spyke's house

  1. Follow Erika to Spyke's house (location: the bottom of Riverview Town, the home with the red roof at the center middle of three houses.)
  2. Hear from the Rubberobo Gang that there are seven Minirobo Gang members.


Looking for the Mini-robos

  1. Receive the Mini-mini Machine from Dr. Medabot.
  2. Locate the seven members of the Minirobo Gang and beat them in robattle.
  • Locations of the Minirobo Gang:
    1. Medabot Laboratory: Inside the laboratory, talk to the white coat in front of the vending machine in the upper right of the first room upon entering.
    2. Medabot Laboratory: Talk to Shiratama, who is collapsed in front of the laboratory (outside).
    3. Convenience Store: Talk to Henry, next to the cashier.
    4. Your Home (1F): Talk to Mom. Afterward winning, receive 1,800¥.
    5. Ginjo Elementary School (1F): In the classroom just to the right of the entrance, where the quarelling students are. After winning, receive Left Arm: Invalid.
    6. Ginjo Elementary School (1F): Talk to the girl in the classroom next to the aisle at the upper left. After winning, receive Right Arm: Councillor.
    7. Ginjo Elementary School (1F): Talk to the teacher in the upper leftmost classroom. After winning, receive Head: Without That.


After wiping out the Mini-robos return to Dr. Aki

  1. After defeating all seven Minirobo Gang members, return the Mini-mini Machine to Dr. Aki.
  2. Hear about magnetic storms from Dr. Aki.


The Medalympics Preliminary, hosted by "Kinjou Elementary"

  1. Go to Ginjo Elementary School.
  2. Talk with Erika and Samantha.
  3. The tournament begins.
  4. First round: The Destroyers VS The Corkscrews (the protagonist's team)
  5. Second round: The Unboylievables VS The Corkscrews
  6. Third round: The Cosplayers VS The Corkscrews
  7. Fourth round: The Pretty Girls VS The Corkscrews
  8. Final round: The Rubberobos VS The Corkscrews
  9. After winning, obtain the Saurus Medal (Kabuto Ver.) or the Vehicle Medal (Kuwagata Ver.) and a Medalympic Badge.

The tournament is a team robattle.
In a team robattle, each ally supplies one Medabot. Meaning that the protagonist can put forth only one Medabot.
Save after each match.
After each victory, you'll be asked to continue to the next match or not. Just choose No and save your game


Rescuing the captured students

  1. Go to the classroom in Ginjo Elementary School at the bottom of the second floor, to the right of the bottom leftmost classroom.
  2. Talk with the Rubberobo Executive, Squidguts.
  3. Rescue the students and go outside.


Electra appears

  1. Talk with Erika and Samantha in the schoolyard.
  2. Go to Spyke's house.
  3. Talk with Erika and Spyke.
  4. From the computer screen, Electra appears.
  5. Return to your home.


Throwdown! A Heated Robattle!

Head to Rosewood Private School

  1. When you leave your house the next morning, go to Medaropolis 1 to the right of Riverview Town.
  2. From Medaropolis 1, continue straight to the right to the next area, Medaropolis 3.
  3. In Medaropolis 3, head up to reach Rosewood Private School.
  4. As you go to enter Rosewood Private School's school building, Erika and the others show up.
  5. Talk to Erika and the others.
  6. Koji, the rival, shows up.
  7. After a dialogue with Koji, Karin, the friend, shows up.
  8. Leave the school.


Go to the restuarant, Dom Peri

  1. From Medaropolis 3, continue downward to Medaropolis 4.
  2. Enter the restaurant, the building to the lower right just after entering Medaropolis 4.
  3. Order the cutlet and curry covered udon special.
    • The cutlet and curry covered udon special consists of udon noodles topped with curry and a cutlet alongside a side of a bowl of rice. The protagonist has trouble deciding whether to eat the curry with the udon and the cutlet with the rice, or the cutlet and curry covered udon first and pour the remaining curry over the rice. The protagonist's impression on it is "Yeah, I really liked the cutlet's crispy coating."
  4. Pay 1,000¥ and go outside.


Head toward the Medabots Corporation

  1. Upon leaving the restaurant, head to the Medabots Corporation after hearing about a new type. The Medabots Corporation is the large building in the lower right of the current location, Medaropolis 4.
  2. After entering the Medabots Corporation, proceed to the room at the back.
  3. Talk to the blonde-haired Kirara.
  4. Receive a Name Tag from Kirara.
  5. Go to the room to the left.
  6. Go to the back of the room and you'll find Ms. Nae.


Obtain a new type of Medabot parts

  1. Talk to Ms. Nae.
  2. In order to test the new parts, you must remove the parts from your Medabot and replace them with the Transformation Capable New Parts.
  3. Once you are ready, talk to Ms. Nae.
  4. Have a test robattle with Ms. Nae.
  5. Dr. Medabots gives you the new parts he has created, Saikachi (Kabuto Ver.) and Dorcus (Kuwagata Ver.)
  6. Receive a Male Tinpet from Dr. Aki. You can now assemble your second Medabot.


Obtain a Mini-Handle

  1. After parting with Dr. Medabots and Ms. Nae, talk with the White Coat at the bottom of the same room.
  2. Robattle the white coat.
  3. After winning, you will obtain the movement item, Mini-Handle
  4. Obtained parts for the Mini-Handle:
    • Head: Steam Board, Right Arm: Steam Dolin, Left Arm: Steam Pipe, Legs: Steam Turbine.

  • At this point, return to Riverview Town and get a medal from Ms. Nae. Make sure not to delay, or you may miss your chance.
  • The head part Dismiss can be purchased at the convenience store in Riverview Town for a pricey 12,000¥, but its Absolute Defense is very powerful.
    • Sell parts gained from robattles to get more money to make the purchase.
    • Additionally, the Medabot, Primi-Lotus, with the Dismiss part can rarely appear at Riverview Park.


Go to the Medalo Department Store

  1. After receiving a medal from Ms. Nae at the Medabots Corporation, head to the Medalo Department Store. It is the large building located at the lower left corner of Medaropolis 2, the area below Medaropolis 1.
  2. On the second floor, receive the Rosewood Badges from Karin.

  • Obtain the head part, Long Fawn.
    1. Talk to the old man at the lower left corner of the second floor.
    2. Talk to the girl wearing red in front of the vending machine.
    3. Purchase a Cranberry from the cashier.
    4. Talk to the old man in the lower left again to receive Head: Long Fawn.


Go to Rosewood Private School

  1. Exit the Medalo Department Store.
  2. Robattle the Screws in front of the entrance.
  3. After victory, the Rosewood Badges are stolen.
  4. Borrow Karin's badge.
  5. Talk to the girl and boy in front of the Rosewood school building.
  6. Go into the school building.


Get back the three badges from the Screws

  1. Enter the classroom door just above the stairs on the right side of the first floor.
  2. Robattle Spyke.
  3. After victory, receive the first Rosewood Badge.
  4. When you return the badge to the boy, he'll thank you with a Legs: Kicker.
  5. Enter the classroom door just below the stairs on the left side of the first floor.
  6. Robattle Sloan.
  7. After victory, receive the second Rosewood Badge.
  8. When you return the badge to the girl, she'll thank you with a Left Arm: Such Force.
  9. Robattle the Screws in the classroom at the back right of the first floor.
  10. After victory, receive the third Rosewood Badge.


Go to Karin's house and return the badges

  1. After leaving the school, go to Karin's house. It is located at the lower right corner of the area.
  2. Talk to Karin in the upper left room.
  3. Karin will give you a Female Tinpet. You can now assemble your third Medabot.
  4. Go to Rosewood Private School once more.


Explore within Rosewood Private School

  1. Take the stairs on the left side of the first floor to the second floor.
  2. Going up to the second floor, enter the classroom just to the left.
  3. Talk to Erika in the upper left corner of the classroom.
  4. Hear about the spy from Koji.
  5. Enter the classroom just below the stairs on the right of the second floor.
  6. Talk to the boy in the center of the bottom of the classroom and find out his medal was taken.


Recover the medals

  1. Enter the Staff Room at the upper left corner of the second floor, the room with a sign on the wall.
  2. Talk to the glasses wearing male teacher on the left side of the staff room and robattle.
  3. After victory, obtain the Boy's Medal.
  4. Return the medal to the boy.
  5. Go to the staff room once more to retrieve your friend, Hachiro's medal.
  6. Talk to the female teacher at the lower left of the staff room.
  7. Robattle the teacher at the upper right.
  8. After victory, talk to the Medabot further in.
  9. Robattle the Bipedal Medabot
  10. AFter victory, Hachiro's Medal is obtained.


Go to Hachiro's house

  1. After leaving Rosewood Private School, go the Hachiro's house just to the right.
  2. At the second floor, talk to Hachiro.
  3. Receive the Bird Medal (Kabuto Ver.) or Beast Medal (Kuwagata Ver.) from Hachiro.


The protagonist is captured by someone

  1. Go to the Headmaster's Room on the second floor of Rosewood Private School, to the right of the staff room.
  2. After talking to Koji, enter the headmaster's room.
  3. You are captured by someone within the headmaster's room.


Play as Karin and explore inside the school

  1. After leaving the headmaster's room, explore counterclockwise around the second floor.
    • The reason for going counterclockwise is: to ultimately talk to the boy who you retrieved a medal for at the end.
  2. First go to the Staff Room.
  3. After talking to everyone in the staff room, try to enter the hall from the leftside exit and robattle a teacher.
  4. After victory, go to the classroom to the left.
  5. After talking to the girl in the upper left corner, talk to the boy below and robattle.
  6. After victory, go to the classroom below (not the stairs).
  7. Robattle the teacher at the podium.
  8. After talking to the boy at the center, go to the lower right classroom on the second floor. Do not enter the room on the lower left, it is the ladies' room.
  9. After talking to the girl, go to the classroom on the right.
  10. After talking to the boy and girl by the entrance, finally talk to the boy at the center (the one you returned a medal to).
  11. Leave the classroom.
  12. The boy chases after you and you learn the protagonist entered the headmaster's room.
  13. Go to the headmaster's room.
  14. Receive your Medawatch from Karin.


The Medalympics in Rosewood Private School begins

  1. Exit the shool building and go to the gym at the upper left of the schoolyard.
  2. Talk to Erika and Samantha.
  3. Talk to Erika once you're ready.
  4. Once you line up next to Erika, the tournament will begin.
  5. First round: The Strange Town representatives, the Extras VS The Corkscrews (the protagonist's team)
  6. Second round: The Justa Town representatives, the Human Series VS The Corkscrews
  7. Work together to eliminate the spy medarot.
  8. Third round, one-on-one timed robattle: Koji VS The Corkscrews
  9. After victory, receieve a Strike Medalia, a Berserk Medalia, a Shoot Medalia, and a Snipe Medalia.
  10. Part ways with everyone.


Receive a medal from the headmaster

  1. Leave the gym and go to the Headmaster's Room on the second floor of Rosewood Private School.
  2. Talk to the headmaster.
  3. The door to the right leads to a medal room.
  4. Choose the Samurai Medal at the bottom right. The other medals are dummies.


Go to the Riverview Town's convenience store

  1. Go to Riverview Town's convenience store and talk to Henry.
  2. Listen to what Henry has to say.


Go to the Medabots Research Institute

  1. Talk to Dr. Medabots.
  2. Follow Dr. Aki above to the Medal Laboratory.
  3. Press the A button while face the medal in the middle.
  4. Hear about the 6-sided Nummelite from Dr. Aki.
    • A 6-sided Nummelite: A blank stone before it becomes a medal. It's said that it becomes a medal when combined with somehting called "force".
  5. Receive 6-sided Nummelites from Dr. Aki.
  6. Hear about the second level of transfomation, Crafty Mode.
  7. Receive three sets of Optional Parts for transforming to crafty mode.


Showdown with Electra!

  1. Return home and go to bed upstairs.
  2. Wake up in the middle of the night.
  3. Start your PC.
  4. Electra appears from the screen.
  5. Robattle Electra.
  6. After victory, go to sleep.
