Grain (グレイン), known in English as Gryphon, is an arch-devil-type Medarot that first appeared in Medarot 4.
Description[edit]
Grain is capable of Medachanging into a floating form with multiple legs and its arms changed into cannons.

Medarot 4[edit]
Grain is utilized by Orochi at the story's final battle, Ikki utilizes the Archangel Model Particle to fight it. Later, it can be obtained in the Kuwagata Version from the Dream Machine in the left room of Medarots Corporation. After inserting a RoboRobo Medal in the machine, it will request the following items:
- イダテンのくつ (Dash Shoes): Obtained after winning Meda Speed King 60 Times.
- アンカーのたすき (Anchor Sash): Obtained after winning Medaroad Race 40 times.
- かみひこうき (Paper Plane): Obtained after winning Meda Bird Contest 60 times.
- シュリのサイン (Shuri's Autograph): Obtained ater Winning Ms. Medarot Contest 30 times.
- あんしゴーグル (Night Vision Goggles): Obtained ater Winning Dark Robattle 30 times.
They are obtained with the Medarots that keep track of how many times you won each respective Minigame, at the respective milestones. After inserting all of those in the Dream Machine, you'll get Grain. Particle is obtained the same way in the Kabuto Version, instead.

In the anime[edit]
Grain is the most powerful Death Medarot. Kokuryuu placed Blackbeetle's medal on Grain. After Blackbeetle lost control of Grain, It went berserk. In the fire caused by Grain going rampant, It saved Kokuryuu, along with the other Medarot's help. Near the end of this episode, Blackbeetle becomes Kokuryuu's Medarot.
