Black Cruz (ブラッククルース) is a Kabuto x Kuwagata-type Medarot that appears in Medarot S. It was added alongside Clear Maid in January 2024, as part of the 4th Anniversary event.
Description[edit]
Black Cruz is a model designed with aspects of both Kabuto (rhino beetle) and Kuwagata (stag beetle) Medarots. It has characteristics to evoke Blackbeetle and Blackstag, as well as a sword on its right arm and a gun on its left. Its head design is based on a tricorne ("three horned") hat as a reference to the beetles' horns.
The "cruz" in Black Cruz's name comes from "cross" translation on Latin languages, as in "Kabuto x Kuwagata". "Black" refers to its color also defined by its Kabuto and Kuwagata counterparts.
Unlike Blackbeetle and Blackstag, Black Cruz can't Medachange.
