Arcbeetle-Dash (アークビートル・ダッシュ or アークビートルD) is a hercules beetle-type Medarot, similar to Arcbeetle but capable of performing a Medachange. Arcbeetle-Dash appears in the Medarot Damashii anime, where it is the Medarot used by Ginkai.

Description[edit]

Similar to Arcbeetle, Arcbeetle-Dash's head part isn't compatible with the same Medal its other Parts are, but it can still deal a huge amount of damage. It is weaker than Arcbeetle's Prominence, but it allows one usage more. Also, Arcbeetle's Prominence is a Beam attack, whilst Arcbeetle-Dash's Appendix is a Laser attack. All of Arc-Dash's other parts are weaker aswell, but the advantage is it allows Arc-Dash to Medachange into a car-like form.

In the games[edit]

In Medarot 4[edit]

It appears as one of the Medarots controlled by the Phantom Retort, among others. It is principally seen when Phantom Retort has Red Matador and Pii as Medarots in the Robottle simulator at Ryuutou. It appears with a Kabuto Medal.

Library description: Giant Beetle Type Medarot. It wears a powerful red crest!

In Medarot Navi[edit]

Its model number is now KBT-7BX. In Kabuto Version it is used by Rintarou during the postgame chapters; Kuwagata Version sees him using Tyrrellbeetle instead.

Visually, Arc-Dash's Appendix head has a "sight" on its upper pylon that is absent on Arcbeetle's Prominence.

In Medarot Dual[edit]

Arcbeetle-Dash makes a reappearance in Medarot Dual as a DLC-exclusive Medarot. It appears along with Titanbeetle, Heal Angel, and Nio-Kaiko in the second DLC mission, which can be downloaded for 300 yen ($2.40).

Its model number is now KBT06-C and the "C" signify having a Medachange.

In Medarot 8[edit]

He is one of the Medarot of Phantom Thief Jill alongside Tyrell Beetle

In the anime[edit]

Arcbeetle-Dash is first introduced with Tyrrellbeetle as prototypes at the Medarot Corporation, where Ikki and Yuuzuru are allowed to try them out with Metabee’s and DonDoguu’s medals, respectively. Metabee finds Arcbeetle-Dash's body to be extremely heavy and difficult to move properly, resulting in extremely clumsy performance during the test. Later, the two Medarots were offered as a prize in a tournament, where they were won by Ginkai. After Ginkai realized the importance of friendship and true partnership with Medarots, he decided to reuse his old Bayonit's Kabuto Medal in the new Arcbeetle-Dash body, giving the Medarot the name "Arc-Dash." After Yuuzuru, in the guise of the Mystery Medafighter, helped Ginkai out, he gave Tyrrellbeetle to him. Later on, during important battles, the two of them occasionally combined the Medarots into Masterbeetle.

He is quite like Metabee, who doesn't take orders from anyone: stubborn, hot-tempered, loyal, and a good friend. He is in love with Peppercat (a feeling that seems to be mutual), even going so far as to hitting Blackbeetle dead-on with the Medaforce just for damaging her body and ceasing her functions. He has a rare medal, and, as such, has access to the Medaforce.

He is voiced by Phil McCordic in the english dub.
