Shiratama
Shiratama-kun (白川照幸) is a minor character featured in Medarot 2, Medarot 3 and Medarot 4. He is a researcher at the Medarot Laboratory obsessed with Nae.
In the games
Medarot 2
Shiratama appears at the very beginning of the game, being at a desk near Nae's office. When Ikki tries to enter her office, Shiratama angrily intervenes and knocks Ikki down when he persists. Hearing the commotion, Nae comes out and says she's fine with giving Ikki a tour of the office. As such, Shiratama begrudgingly lets Ikki in.
After completing the main storyline, Shiratama appears to interupt the awards ceremony of the Partstun Rally, saying that he is as a king due to him having created the game, and challenges Ikki to a Robattle with a combination of God Emperor, Wonder Angel and Belzelga parts. After being defeated, Shiratama is scolded by Nae and dragged out of the ceremony.
His role is identical in Medarot 2 Core. His portrait uses the generic Medarot researcher sprite.
Medarot 3
After Medarot 2, Shiratama was fired from the Medarot Company for calling Dr. Medarot "grandpa" and became destitute, setting up residence in Omikuji 's abandoned factory. Still hoping to charm Nae and get back his job, he designed the Medarot model Limbo-Mambo and dug up an underground passage (which he dubs the "Bridge of Love") to access the Medarot Laboratory.
While investigating the odd occurences in town, Ikki and Arika go to the abandoned factory and meet the Limbo-Mambo that guards the place. Venturing inside, Ikki finds Shirotama and defeats him in a Robattle. After Shirotama explains his predictament, Ikki and Arika deduce he isn't responsible for the current events. After they leave, Shirotama stumbles upon the MiniMini Machine and quickly discovers its shrinking ability. hoping to use it so he can make use of his tunnel.
Shortly after, he is apprehended by a member of the RoboRobo Gang who wants the MiniMini Machine back and is paralyzed. Ikki witness the incident and defeat the RoboRobo grunt, taking the MiniMini Machine from Shirotama.
Medarot 4
He is a judge in the "Miss & Mr. Medarot Contest" minigame. He likes both Female Tinpets and Medals.
Notes
- He is named after Teruyuki Shirakawa, a Natsume employee director of the first Medarot game. The character was included because the sponsors of Medarot 2 wanted a character named after one of the game's staff [1].
