Leg abilities are a new game mechanic added in Medarot 8. In addition to deciding the Medarot's leg type and certain stats, all leg parts now have an "ability" (とくせい) that provides a passive effect in battle. There are 58 in total.

Acrobatics | アクロバティクス | Gains +5 to its Mobility stat for each non-destroyed arm part (maximum is +10 for both arms). |
Carnage | シュラ | Gains +5 to its Power stats when an arm part is destroyed (maximum is +10 for both arms). |
Artillery | アーティラリー | Gains +5 to Power and Success when attacking if no attacks hit it during its charge phase. |
Weapon Master | ウェポンマスター | Adds half of the Melee stat to Shooting during shooting attacks, and half of the Shooting stat to Melee during melee attacks. |
Quick Attack | クイックアタック | Gives melee parts with a Power stat under 40 the "Rapid-Fire" ability. |
Quick Fire | クイックファイア | Gives shooting parts with a Power stat under 40 the "Rapid-Fire" ability. |
Endurance | エンデュランス | Gains charge % equal to 1/5 of the damage when damage is taken while charging. |
Auto-Charge | オートチャージ | Adds 5% to the charge gauge after each action. |
Auto-Repair | オートリペア | Recovers HP on all parts equal to the % gained when charge % increases. |
Fortress | フォートレス | Damage taken when defending is reduced by 10%. |
Pillbox | トーチカ | Damage taken is reduced by 20% during CF attack standby. |
Pupa | プーパ | Damage taken is reduced by 20% when at 50% charge or higher. |
Charm | チャーム | Damage taken is reduced by 20% if the attacker is using an opposite gender Tinpet. |
Continual-P | コンテニュアルP | Increases Mobility stat by 1 for every action performed (maximum is +10). |
Emergency | エマージェンシー | Increases Mobility stat by 2 when an ally Medarot's part is destroyed (maximum is +10). |
Dead Or Alive | デッドオアライブ | Increases Melee stat by 2 for every critical melee attack performed (maximum is +10). |
Trigger Happy | トリガーハッピー | Increases Shooting stat by 2 for every critical shooting attack performed (maximum is +10). |
Bloodstain | ブラッドステイン | Increases Power stat by 3 for every enemy part destroyed (maximum is +15). |
Extra Ammo | ついかだんそう | Increases head part uses by 1. |
Shooter | シューター | Increases the accuracy of sniping attacks by 10%. |
Carrier | キャリアー | May randomly inflict one of its own negative status effects on the opponent when attacking. |
Super Armor | スーパーアーマー | Negates the effects of Thunder, Freeze, and Tornado. |
Intercept | インターセプト | Counters by attacking first when targeted during CF attack standby. |
Waylay | ウェイレイ | Gains +1 to its Melee and Shooting stats for each level of trap/plant placed on the field. |
Fairy Charge | フェアリチャージ | Gains 2% charge for each level of trap/plant placed on the field after performing an action. |
Trap Buster | トラップバスター | Can destroy enemy traps instead of triggering them. |

Two leg abilities were rebalanced in the 1.1 update patch. These were their effects prior to the update:
