- For the location, see Medarotters.
A Medarotter (Japanese: メダロッター), known in English as a Medafighter, is a person who owns a Medarot.
Although most Medarotters train their Medarot(s) for fighting in Robottles, others command their Medarots for other purposes such as work, or simply keep them as companions. Medarotters issue commands to their Medarots using a Medarotch.

In the anime
The anime's Medarotters consist mainly of characters from Medarot 2, with two characters exclusive to the first game and several new, original characters.
Unlike in the games, Medarotters in the anime usually keep only one Medarot instead of several. While they are not prevented from having more, battles in the anime focus on 1 vs. 1 instead of the standard 3 vs. 3 format in the games.
Although it is not directly explained in the first anime, Medarot Damashii shows that Medarotters need multiple Medarotches to command multiple Medarots. For example, Yuuzuru Oozora needs two Medarotches to command two Medarots. This requirement does not exist in the games.
Medarot Damashii establishes that Medarots are used almost exclusively by children and it is frowned upon for adult Medarotters to battle children. This taboo does not exist in the original anime, with the sequel creating a contradiction.
In the anime universe, Victor is the number one Medarotter.
