Tawarama (タワラーマ Tawarāma, called Patra in the English dub of the anime)' is a character from Medarot 1. She is the Egyptian representative of the Robattle International Championship. Her primary Medarot is King Pharaoh.
In the games[edit]
Medarot 1[edit]
Tawarama is one of the contestant in the National Tournament. Prior to the start of the tournament, she can be found inside the Tournament Hotel in the Stadium arena, in front of a computer. When talked to, she will ask Hikaru if he wants to practice. Answering "Yes" will start a Robattle where she uses three King Pharaohs.
She is the fourth contestant in the tournament proper, using the same setup as in the hotel. Her role is identical in Medarot Perfect Edition.
In the manga[edit]
Medarot 1[edit]
Tawarama is a Medarotter who advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament and was set to face Hikaru Agata. However, before the match, she was violently attacked by Taiyo, leaving her unconscious and hospitalized.
As a result, Hikaru automatically advanced to the finals to face Taiyo. Despite her condition, Tawarama eventually regained consciousness and warned everyone about the connection between the RoboRobo Gang and Select Corps, though it was too late to prevent Taiyo's plan.
In the anime[edit]
Medarot[edit]
Eight years prior to the start of the anime, a 12-year-old Tawarama participated in the Robattle World Tournament, earning her place among the top three Medarotters, alongside Hikaru Agata and Joe Suihan. During a flashback, Tawarama is seen using her King Pharaoh Medarot in a battle against a Blackmail. She reached the finals, where she confronted Hikaru Agata, but in their intense Robattle, Hikaru's Metabee sparked the infamous Ten Days of Darkness event.
In the present Robattle World Tournament, Tawarama represents Team Egypt and competes against Team Japan in the quarterfinals with her Cleopatra-type Medarot, Empress Patra. Initially, she, like Joe Suihan, had doubts about Hikaru. However, upon learning the truth behind the Ten Days of Darkness, Tawarama put aside her reservations and chose to cooperate with Hikaru and Ikki Tenryou.
