Iseki Hatano (ハタノイセキ Hatano Iseki) is a character in Medarot 1. She is the Leader of the Bad Kid Trio. Her primary medarot is Magentacat.

She is something of a predecessor to Kikuhime, having a similar role, personality, and preference in Medarots.

In the games

Medarot

Iseki's portrait in the Medarot Game Boy manual.

Iseki is a classmate of Hikaru. When spoken to in class, she tells Hikaru about his classmates and encourages him to visit the town's Select Corp office. She is later found in her house, telling Hikaru off for entering without being invited.

Before Hikaru enters a road leading to the Select Corps HQ, Iseki appears, thanking him for defeating Yanma and Kubota, and challenges him to a Robottle. She uses two Magentacats.

She is later fought in the District tournament held in the basement of the Medarot Company office, this time using three Magentacats.

In the final portion of the game, Iseki and the other Bad Kids appear to cover Hikaru when he fights Suzume in the Select Corp HQ. If after this Hikaru returns to the hidden room where the three captured scientists were and goes to the seemingly empty spot on the bottom left, Iseki and the other Bad Kids will appear and complain their dramatic entrance has been ruined.

Iseki's role is identical in the game's remake Medarot Perfect Edition, though she is given additional dialogue. The most notable addition is the revelation that Iseki is the third girl who has a crush on Hikaru, at Kirara or Nae ending, she appears to declare to Hikaru, but he will dismiss her regardless of the player's actions.

Medarot S

Iseki is one of the obtainable Medarotters featured in Medarot S, giving bonuses for Thunder-based attacks.
