Kaiser Beetle is a KBT-model Medarot and the upgraded version of Granbeetle. Its sole appearance is in Medarot Navi.
Description
Though its appearance more closely resembles Arcbeetle than other KBT models, Kaiser Beetle is nearly identical in function to Granbeetle: the Head has a strong Rifle while the Right and Left Arms are Rifle and Gatling, respectively. The Legs are Two-Legged (despite appearing to be Float or Flight legs).
The main differences between the two lie in strength and accuracy: Kaiser Beetle's parts have higher attack power but reduced accuracy compared to Granbeetle's. Its Drives, on the other hand, have ~40% higher Strength with no reduction in Rate of Success - but some Medaforce is required to enact a Power Medachange, heading off a potentially unfair advantage.
The only other differences between the two Beetles are in the Head Parts (of which Kaiser has one less use), Leg Parts (Gran has higher Mobility) and Drive A (Gran's Missile is replaced with Kaiser's high-accuracy Gatling). The player is free to either switch to Kaiser Beetle for its powerful attacks or continue using Granbeetle for its reliability; the two can also be deployed together, and even their Medals are cross-compatible.
Appearances
Kaiser Beetle first appears in the second-to-last module. After defeating the sixth Space Robo general, the strange Medarot comes online and attacks; Kasumi, along with Shiden and three other allies, must Robattle it and its fellow security Medarots to shut it down.
After defeating him the player receives all of his parts along with a male Tinpet and a B-Kabuto Medal.
