Kikuhime (Samantha in English translations) is a recurring character in the Medarot franchise, first appearing in Medarot 2. The leader of a trio of bullies called The Screws, Kikuhime uses her underlings and robattling skills to harass other kids and as such frequently comes in conflict with Ikki Tenryou. Despite her rough ways, Kikuhime is shown to have a good heart, though how much varies based on the individual installment.

As a Medarotter, Kikuhime favors agile CAT-type Medarots, with her first Medarot Peppercat being the one most associated with her character.

In the anime

Medarot

Kikuhime is a recurring character in the first anime series, first acting as an antagonistic bully to Ikki and Arika. After Ikki defeats her in Robattle, Kikuhime acts as an occasional irritant and troublemaker, although she is soon shown to have softer qualities, holding a crush on a boy and taking up ballerina lessons. By the end of the series, Kikuhime and her Screws eventually develops into surprise allies and friends to Ikki and his group.

Medarot Damashii

In the follow-up anime, Kikuhime reverts to an antagonistic role, frequently making deals with Kokuryuu Kamizake to leak information or assist with his schemes in exchange for improvements to Peppercat, although she eventually thinks better of this arrangement. She also develops feelings for Ginkai after he becomes a honest Medarotter.
