Belzelga (ベルゼルガ) is a devil-type Medarot that first appeared in Medarot 2. It is an upgraded version of Blackmail.

Description

Like his predecessor, Blackmail, Belzelga is mainly focused on short range attacks. He uses both his arms to greatly damage an opponent; while his head, Hellmet, can recover one of his parts. His punches are so powerful they get destroyed after one use.

In the games

Medarot 4

Belzelga makes a reapperance, this time appearing as a rampaging Medarot in the game's postgame, where the player fights it a total of 4 times, which are the only oportunities to get its parts, so make sure to get its parts after each fight. It is accompanied in the fights by the newer DVL Model, Pakat.

1st encounter happens in the cave that leads to Sakanza Town, where Blackbeetle or Blackstag are also met depending on the version.

2nd encounter happens at the hill in Shinra Village.

3rd encounter happens at the desert above Karasawa Gee Oasis.

4th and last encounter happens at the cave in Umineko Coast.

In Medarot R

Is obtainable from the Part Collection by fighting りんたろう that is ranked opponent number 2.

In Medarot Brave

Quote: It's nice to be able to fight freely... well, I've got one more time for revival.

In Medarot DS

Its model number is now DVL01-M. His attacks are changed back to Berserk.

In the anime

In the episode 21 (14 in the English dub), Metabee robottled against Belzelga, whose cutting edge technology and power made the RoboRobo Gang suspect it possessed a Rare Medal. They later employed a trio of them to defend one of their bases, but these Belzelgas were defeated by Rokusho. Ms. Caviar later employed a Belzelga as her Medabot during a battle under the guise of Space Medafighter X.
