Kantaros (カンタロス), known in English as Kantaroth is the third rhinoceros beetle-type Medarot that first appeared in Medarot R.
Description
It is an upgraded version of Metabee, with a blockier appearance and a duller color. Out of all of the various upgraded forms of Metabee, it appears most similar to the basic Metal Beetle design.

He makes an appearance as downloadable content.
In the anime
Kantaros is Rintarou’s Medarot. In his first appearance, he is mistaken for Metabee, causing trouble for Ikki and his partner due to Rintarou’s overzealousness and disregard for protocol in Robottle.
