Uranade (ソードブルース) is a Serenade.EXE-type Medarot that was added to Medarot S as part of a collaboration with the Mega Man Battle Network franchise. the RME model number is from "RockMan.EXE," the Japanese name of the franchise, and Uranade's name comes from the term Ura (ウラ), used to refer to the Ura Internet, or Undernet in English localization, and nade from Serenade.
Description
Uranade is inspired by the NetNavi Serenade.EXE. It closely resembles Serenade, but with a Medarot-style face instead of the original's human-like facial features, with the face's color matching the color of the original Serenade's skin color, and the raiments floating behind Serenade being connected to Uranade's back.
Although Serenade.EXE is confirmed to be a male character, Uranade's parts are neutral due to Serenade's androgynous appearance.
Uranade's part function in Medarot S are:
Part | Name | Type | Action |
---|---|---|---|
Head: | Hagoromo Body | Assist | Scrape |
Right arm: | Saint Break | Shooting | Wide Break |
Left arm: | Holy Wing | Shooting | Tornado |
Legs: | Sarouel Leg | Hover | Mars |
Its head part is named after Hagoromo (羽衣), a feathered kimono worn by Heavenly Japanese beings in Japanese Buddhism, referring to Serenade's holy appearance and status in the series. Its right arm, Saint Break, is based on Serenade's move, Saint Light, where they launch an orb that can bypass defenses. Its left arm, Holy Wing, is based on Serenade's other move, Holy Shock, where Serenade attacks the player, with a gust of wind which pushes the player backwards. Its leg parts, Sarouel Leg, is based on Serenade's outfit having sarouel, a type of legwear that are notable for their baggy appearance.
