In the anime
In the episode 21 (14 in the English dub), Metabee robottled against Belzelga, whose cutting edge technology and power made the RoboRobo Gang suspect it possessed a Rare Medal. They later employed a trio of them to defend one of their bases, but these Belzelgas were defeated by Rokusho. Ms. Caviar later employed a Belzelga as her Medabot during a battle under the guise of Space Medafighter X.
