Torito Beetle (トリトビートル) is a prototype rhinoceros beetle-type Medarot based on the Diloboderus abderus beetle, a South American pest species known in spanish as the Bicho Torito ("Little bull bug") or Cascarudo ("hard shelled"). It was submitted to the Medarot 20th Anniversary Gran Prix Orimeda contest by MANZIさん, where it was one of the winners and was depicted in the Manga Medarot Re-Reloaded. Its first game appearance was in August 2021, when it was added as an obtainable model to Medarot S in an event spotlighting Re-Reloaded, alongside Jagd Spider and the medafighter Kagami Rokuyou.

In the games[edit]

In Medarot S[edit]

Torito Beetle was introduced to Medarot S in a Medarot Re-Reloaded event, and was given the model number KBT13-M. It still has the same loadout of parts described in its contest entry, which make it a very self-sufficient medaforce-based melee fighter, as all of its parts help it charge its medaforce except for its right arm, which gets stronger based on how much the charge gauge is filled.

Part Name Type Action
Head: Cascarudo Special Full Charge
Right arm: Torito Horn Melee Charge Blade
Left arm: Larva Mouth Melee Charge Drain
Legs: Dash Ochitsuka Bipedal Auto-Charge

In the manga[edit]

In Medarot Re-Reloaded[edit]

Torito Beetle appears in chapter 13 as a new medarot that partners with Kagami, the main character. Its name is Zechs.
