Medarot Laboratory (メダロット研究所 Medarotto Kenkyuusho) is a recurring location in the series, an institution that conducts research on Medarots. Dr. Medarot and Nae are usually seen in this location.
In the games
In Medarot
The Medarot Laboratory is the main building from the area also known as Medarot Laboratory, accessed from the School area after obtaining a second Tinpet in Harbor Town and defeating Yanma in the path to the area. It is connected with the School, Mountain Village, and Shopping District areas. The building has two floors and a side-room, which is initally locked.
A scientist in the testing area on the 2nd floor will give the Chameleon Medal after collecting the "Medal-like Coin" found in the Mountain. After defeating Typhoon at the Medal Dig Site, Hikaru can talk to Dr. Medarot to get the Name-Tag needed to access the locked room. Inside it is Nae and a stockpile of Medarot parts, which Hikaru can venture into to collect King Pharaoh's part set. When trying to access this portion of the room, a message will appear advising the player that the game may be reset and that it is a wise dea to save now.
In Medarot 2 to 4
The Medarot Laboratory in Omikuji Town is often visited by Ikki.
It is the starting point in Medarot 2 and Medarot 2 Core. It is known as Medabots Research Center in the English version of Medarot 2 Core.
The same lab also appeared in Medarot 3 and Medarot 4.
In Medarot R
The Medarot Laboratory is in Anki Town. Ikki visits the lab after defeating Silver Bat.
In Medarot Cardrobottle
The gameplay tutorial is given by Nae in the Medarot Laboratory.
In Medarot 5
Shigeyuki works in a Medarot Laboratory.
In Shingata Medarot
The Medarot Laboratory is in Karakuri Town.
In Medarot DS and Medarot 7
Morokoshi Town has a Medarot Laboratory.
In the manga
Medarot Laboratory is a recurring place in the Medarot manga, being first seen in chapter 6 when the Roborobo Gang attempted to take over the lab.
In the anime
A Medarot Laboratory, known in English as Medabot Laboratory, appeared in episode 12 from Medarot Damashii, where Dr. Medarot revealed Arcbeetle-Dash and Tyrrellbeetle to Ikki and Yuuzuru.
