| After several of the RoboRobo Gang's plans failed thanks to Hikaru, Taiyo entered the National Tournament as himself. He initially kidnaps [[Kirara|Beauty]] but is confronted by Hikaru. Taiyo faces Hikaru in the tournament finals and loses.
