Ten years later, it's revealed later that Rokusho suffers from PTSD after encountering Beast Master and watching Metabee die. He meets Metabee playing with Ikki and co. and confuses the new Metabee with Hikaru's, but Metabee's fighting style convinces him otherwise. Later, He barges to the Karakuchi residence when he found out that Kouji reawakend Beast Master. Attempting to finish the job and kill Beast Master for good, he fights Ikki's Metabee in this state until he defeated Metabee in a brutal manner, causing Metabee to cry out. He finds [[Beast Master]] with [[Kouji]], but Beast Master's kind actions make Rokusho find himself unable to kill him as Beast Master has no memory of the evil deeds that [[Taiyo]] had him do.
