Editing Medarot 7 (manga)

Medarot 7 is a manga written in 2012 by [[Tanaka Yasuki]] for three chapters. It ran in Saikyou Jump and V Jump in the summer of 2012. It focused on the adventures of [[Azuma Amakura]] and [[Metabee (KBT00-M)|Metabee]] and ignores the events of [[Medarot DS]], spinning a new narrative of Azuma's story by adapting [[Medarot 7]]. It is set before the Meteor Crash and before Azuma and Metabee found an [[M-Drive]].

== Story ==

=== Chapter 1 ===

Azuma Amakura, a junior high school student, is late for school because he and his partner [[Metabee (KBT00-M)|Metabee]] played games all night, because Metabee wanted to win, causing both of them to sleep late. En route Azuma complains that Chitose is going to chew him out, and asks Metabee why he didn't wake him earlier. Metabee angrily tells Azuma to not treat him like a machine, and the run to school as fast as their legs can carry them. 

At Morokoshi School, Azuma finds out from [[Taruto Benii|Taruto]] that [[The Willows]]-- Sakura and Nut attacked the Schoolyard and raided it for parts, beating [[Chitose]] and [[Noire Katze|Noire]], taking her left arm, and trashing Taruto's [[Doctor Study|Docto]], all for questioning the duo's morality.

After complaining about Taruto over explaining the situation, Azuma challenges Sakura to get his friend's part back, and when he sends out Metabee to do battle with [[Rouge Katze|P.C.]] and [[Keithturtle|Keith]], he finds out that Metabee slept, too tired and lazy to do anything. Metabee agrees with the Willows, not even being helpful to Azuma.

Azuma tries to have Metabee fight anyway, while being belittled by the other schoolchildren about how Metabee is defective and how weak Azuma is.  Nut taunts Azuma and Metabee with the other children; with them calling Azuma a fool and Metabee a piece of trash.  Metabee then says that Azuma is not an idiot,  and the duo encourages each other by saying that Metabee isn't trash and that Azuma is not a fool, and that they are partners.  Metabee attacks, beating up Keith by dodging P.C.  when she used her ''Thunder Shot'' in an attempt to attack Metabee, destroying Keith's left arm, and finishing P.C. off with his ''Missiles''. 

The Willows lose the fight, and Azuma then starts thinking that he's a genius --- only for Metabee to say that Azuma won due to Metabee's strength.

After that [[Kohaku Himuro]] and [[Rokusho (KWG00-M)|Rokusho]] are seen watching the battle. Kohaku comments on the fact that Azuma and Metabee are strong together, revealing that the duo piqued his interest.

=== Chapter 2 ===

Three months later...

Azuma and his friends Chitose and Taruto, are visiting the part shop. Azuma notices a bunch of 'Custom Parts' and thinks that many of them are cool, resulting in Chitose explaining that MedaParts do different actions, and that it's not wise to judge them by look and feel alone. Taruto decides on a part for Azuma and buys it.

The trio sees a gang of strange men bullying a little girl, threatening to fight the girl's Bluesdog. Azuma and his friends notice that it's the  
Roborobo Gang who are armed with Poison Copy, Maxsnake and Gaufbullet.  The gang of thugs threaten Taruto, prompting Azuma and Chitose to fight them, with Azuma transporting Metabee... only find out that he slept, Maxsnake attacks Metabee, confusing him, with Chitose and Noire saying that they're not like that combination of idiots, with Noire using her 'Press Ball' attack, seemingly damaging Gaufbullet. Poison Copy sneaks up toward  Noire with Azuma calling out  for Noire to dodge. Taruto and Docto analzye the situtation, only to get knocked out.

Kohaku appears, saying that Azuma and his friends are struggling enough, with Rokusho analyzing the whole battle, slashing Poison Copy while rushing at him, much to everyone's shock. After beating Gaufbullet and Maxsnake, Kohaku and Rokusho introduce themselves, Kohaku then points out a few things: that Azuma's team is not good at working together, basically pointing out that Azuma and co. are inexperienced,  and Azuma and Metabee's selfish actions caused Azuma's team to lose, much to Azuma's shock.

Azuma and Metabee recklessly challenge Kohaku and Rokusho, who point out that they're going all out if they have to battle. Chitose then tries to get Azuma to think about what he's dong, but Azuma doesn't care out and acts on his injured pride and fights Kohaku anyway. 

[[Shiokara]], an old man and a Roborobo executive appears, with his [[Chuugen Haoh]] trapping Rokusho, and says that Azuma is going to regret what he did to his men. Kohaku calls out to Rokusho, who explains that he can't move. 

Azuma and Metabee decide to fight Shiokara for interupting a their 'duel between men', with Kohaku saying that he didn't ask for help, and Azuma says that they're even, Metabee freeing Rokusho from the cables and Rokusho saying that he's indebted to Azuma and Metabee. 

Azuma uses the ''Trans-Part System'' on Metabee, giving him [[Maasai Laibon]]'s Right Arm part 'Rungu'. With his new arm, Metabee blasts at Chuugen Haoh who shields himself. Shiokara and his men try to kidnap Chitose, only for Rokusho to call the Roborobos cowards, and finishes Chuugen Haoh off with his ''Chanbara Sword''.

The Roborobo Gang lose, with Kohaku and Azuma making up after the battle, with Kohaku taking back what he said about Azuma, realizing that Azuma and Metabee can work together if they put their minds together, and deciding to have a friendly battle with them at some point.

Meanwhile, Salami and Surume plot revenge on Kohaku and Azuma.

=== Chapter 3 ===
Later when the Robo-Robo Gang sends Kohaku a fake letter of accomplishment, he thinks it's a chance to wipe out the Robo-Robo Gang and jumps into the trap. Also, the Willows obtain the Buriri Guarder and plans to take revenge on Azuma, but because the Robo-Robo group happens to have lured Azuma and Kohaku out, they end up fighting together.
 
Along with Azuma and the others who were also lured out with a fake mission statement, Willows fight against the giant Beast Master. the whole group is cornered by the overwhelming firepower of Beast Master, but thanks to the [[Samurai]] parts that Shiokara had obtained and left behind , Rokushou is able to create an opening for Metabee to use the Medaforce. However, in the end, Beast Master was defeated by Metabee's Medaforce, which blew his head off without a trace. However, there is no mention that Metabee's Kabuto Medal has any special ability.
