This page is a list of [[Medalia]]s found in [[Medarot 8]] and the materials used to craft them.

== Basic info ==

In Medarot 8, Medalias ({{r|メダリア|Medaria}}) are small colored jewels that can be inserted into [[Medal]]s to alter their stats or give them a variety of special effects. A Medal can only have one Medalia equipped at a time. The ability to use them is unlocked in chapter 3 of the game after [[Parsley]] explains them to the player.

The option to change which Medalia a Medal has equipped is found on the "Medal settings" page, which is accessed through these steps:
* Enter the Settings menu -> select a Medarot -> select its Medal -> on the Medal select screen, press X.
The equipped Medalia is the third option on the page.

Some Medalias can be purchased in shops, while others can only be found in dungeons or received at certain points in the story. In the post-game, the player gains the option to craft Medalias out of materials found in random battles by speaking to [[Saffron]] in the Medal Research Lab and using the machine next to her.

As in [[Medarot 7]], Medalias belong to different categories depending on what they do and how their effects are activated:

== Crafting materials ==

Medalia crafting materials can only be obtained in the post-game after speaking to Saffron in the Medal Research Lab. Each crafting material corresponds to a letter of the alphabet. They appear on the player's consumable items list.

Materials are mainly obtained by defeating stray (Medarotter-less) Medarots, or giant boss Medarots in various locations in the post-game. The Y and Z materials are not obtainable in the base game, but the Z material can be obtained rarely in DLC mission 6.
