Bonaparte (ボナパルト Bonaparuto) is Hikaru Agata's pet dog in Medarot 1. He starts off Hikaru's journey as a Medarotter by discovering and leading Hikaru towards either a Kuwagata or a Kabuto Medal, depending on the version being played. By the time of Medarot 2, he has passed away

Medarot 1

After Hikaru wakes up from his dream, his mother nudges him to do his morning exercise and take Bonaparte for a walk in the park. However, Bonaparte gets ahead and scares off a RoboRobo Gang member holding a Medal. Hikaru finds Bonaparte with the Medal and takes it.

Later, Bonaparte helps Hikaru by chasing off RoboRobo goons attacking the Medal Dig Site. If Hikaru talks to Bonaparte in his room after the accident, he will find that Bonaparte ripped a RoboRobo suit from one of the gang members. The suit can be used to infiltrate the gang's hideout at the north of the Local Shrine.

At the National Tournament, Bonaparte growls when Taiyo kidnaps "Beauty" and takes her to a warehouse. This leads to Hikaru finding Taiyo is infact Typhoon, leader of the RoboRobo gang.

Bonaparte is an opponent on the 6th floor of the Sun Tower.

Later appearances

In Medarot 2, Medarot 2 Core and Medarot 3, a memorial statue of Bonaparte can be found in Medaropolis.

• Bonaparte's name might be a reference to Napoleon, a 1996 manga serialized in Comic BonBon which was Horuma Rin's first professional manga work before being hired to work on Medarot.
