The franchise received two anime adaptations, airing back-to-back from 1999 to 2001.
- Medarot was produced by Bee Train. It is a loose adaptation of Medarot 2, also featuring elements of Medarot 1 and Medarot R. Following its airing, subsequent installments of the game series saw alterations to better ressemble the anime.
- Medarot Damashii was produced by Trans Arts. It is a sequel to the previous series and incorporates elements from Medarot 3 and Medarot 4.
In western markets, both series were localized by Nelvana and aired as a single 91-episodes series over three seasons.
