| Like its predecessor [[Haniwa Golem]], Haniwa Mirror is based on a [[wikipedia:Haniwa|haniwa]], a type of terracotta clay figure left in burial sites in ancient Japan. Its upper half resembles a humanoid haniwa figure, while its legs are intended to look like a horse haniwa (despite the dragon-like appearance), with a long tail and neck consisting of flexible blue tubes. Its arms feature round shields covered in red jewels, which it can use to effectively deflect lasers and other light-based attacks.
