Dave has a minimalist design based on a classical depiction of a ghost or "spectre". It resembles a floating person in a long white robe, with long cylindrical sleeves and a golden chain hanging from its legs. Its face consists of a black screen with glowing yellow circles for eyes. In battle, Dave's main ability is to disrupt the opponent's movement systems, making them easy targets for oncoming attacks.
Dave's name is a reference to [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Spector Dave Spector], a well-known TV personality in Japan. Its name was changed to '''Specter''' in the English version of [[Medarot 2 Core]].
