Regarding Machairodus's name... I've just came across to this: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%9E%E3%82%AB%E3%82%A4%E3%83%AD%E3%83%89%E3%82%A5%E3%82%B9 The name is マカイロドゥス (makairodusu), while this Medarot's name is マカイロドウス which sounds like Machairodous or Machairodose.
