Blossomail (ブロッソメイル), known in English as Redrun, is a female devil-type Medarot that first appeared in the Medarot 4. While it is usually listed as the fourth DVL Medarot, it is considered to be a direct upgrade from Blackmail.

Description[edit]

Blossomail is a fearsome looking Medarot, with devil-like horns and wings, a long tail, and a white face made to look like a skull. The most notable feature of its appearance is its reddish-pink color, which stands out on a devil-type Medarot. In the manga where it appears, Blossomail is shown normally walking on four legs, but has the ability to stand on two. In contrast, when it appears in Medarot Damashii it is completely bipedal and only switches to four legs in its Medachange form. While Medachanged, Blossomail opens its "mouth" to reveal two glowing eyes inside.

In Medarot Damashii, Blossomail is portrayed as being extremely fast, powerful, and resistant to attacks. It wears a golden skull-shaped shield over its left arm, which covers its head like a mask when Medachanged. While Blossomail is listed as a female Medarot in the games (likely to match its pink color), this is never mentioned in the manga version, and the english anime dub refers to Blossomail as a "he". It is unknown whether it is male or female in the japanese version of anime.

Blossomail's name comes from Blackmail combined with flower blossoms, in reference to its red/pink color. Its english name may be a reference to "redrum" (murder spelled backwards) from Stephen King's novel The Shining.

Blossomail's model number in the english version of the anime is DVL-42212, similar to Blackmail.

In the games[edit]

In Medarot 4[edit]

Blossomail is a wild, rampaging Medarot who the player must defeat after Ikki defeats Orochi. After the battle, Blossomail is badly broken and must be taken to Dr. Akihabara. After Ikki becomes the Medamaster, which happens after a series of exams in Medarot Corporation, Akihabara is done fixing it and Ikki can go back to the Dr.'s room to obtain all of its parts.

In Medarot Navi[edit]

Blossomail is under the command of Tamawo. She is found twice during the postgame as part of Rintarou's party, acting as the Leader during their first Robottle with Kasumi. After the second battle she, Rintarou and the others join Kasumi as partners.

In Medarot 7[edit]

Its model number is now DVL03.

In Medarot 8[edit]

The "C" was added at the end of its model number to signify having a Medachange.

In the anime[edit]

In Medarot Damashii, Blossomail was created by XtremeTech and designed by Kokuryuu as a powerful Death Medarot. It appears in episodes 10, 15, 16, 24, 26, and 33, where Blossomail is ultimately given to Banshou.
