Rokusho
Rokusho (ロクショウ), sometimes referred to by its model name Head Scissors (ヘッドシザース), is the original KWG-type Medarot, based on a stag beetle (or "Kuwagata"). It first appeared as Hikaru's partner Medarot in the Kuwagata version of Medarot 1.
Along with Metabee, Rokusho is one of the most iconic Medarots in the series, appearing as a rival or the protagonist's main Medarot in a large number of games and media. There are currently 4 distinct versions of Rokusho (with different abilities, model numbers, and coloring) found across the series. Detailed information can be found on their individual pages:
- Rokusho (KWG-0) - Hikaru Agata's Rokusho from Medarot 1.
- Rokusho (KWG-1) - Ikki Tenryou's Rokusho, found in Medarot 2, 3, 4, R, and several spinoff games.
- Rokusho (KWG00-M) - Azuma Amakura's / Kohaku Himuro's Rokusho from Medarot DS and 7, and also the model used by Soruto in Medarot 8 and Dual.
- Rokusho (KWG01-M) - A recolored version of KWG00-M Rokusho that appears in Medarot 9 and Medarot S.

Description[edit]
The first of its series, Rokusho's design is based on a stag beetle, with large movable antennae on its head representing the beetle's pincers. Its color is mainly white or silver with blue and yellow accents.
Rokusho is a well-balanced Medarot that focuses on close-range physical attacks, designed to be compatible with the Kuwagata Medal. It has a yellow sword on its right arm capable of splitting and retracting, a club-like weapon on its left arm with extendable bolts to increase damage, and scanning sensors in its antennae to provide better awareness of its surroundings in battle.
Although its model name is technically "Head Scissors", it is referred to by the name "Rokusho" more often than not. The name comes from "rokushou" (緑青), a Japanese word meaning green/copper rust. The name first appeared in the Medarot 1 manga, where it may have been chosen to match other metal-themed Medarot names such as Alumi and Nantetsu.
In the games[edit]
In the video games, Rokusho is exclusive to the Kuwagata versions. It is a bipedal Medarot with two distinct physical attacks: a quick Sword attack on its right arm, and a heavy Hammer attack on its left that causes massive damage but leaves it open to counterattacks. Its head part can be used to Scan, thereby increasing the team's overall accuracy.
When compared to Metabee, Rokusho can be considered to be the more support-oriented Medarot. Unlike Metabee which has a Missile attack on its head, Rokusho has a support action, and must rely on its teammates or Medaforce attacks to do damage when its arms are destroyed.
