Nintendo GameCube (ニンテンドーゲームキューブ Nintendōgēmukyūbu), is Nintendo's sixth-generation console. It was released on September 14, 2001. The GameCube is a powerful system with a compact design, featuring four controller ports and an ergonomic controller. It uses small but large-capacity discs, has a vast game library, and offers connectivity with the Game Boy Advance. It also supports a form of online play. In 2006, it was succeeded by the Nintendo Wii, which includes ports for most GameCube hardware and is compatible with its software.

Medarot games[edit]

The GameCube has only one Medarot game, Medarot Brave, known in the West as Medabots Infinity. This makes it one of the two consoles with a Medarot game released outside Japan. Additionally, the GameCube utilizes the Game Boy Player, which allows people to play Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance games, thus increasing the number of Medarot games playable on the console. Medarot Brave also features connectivity with the Game Boy Advance's Medarot 2 Core, supporting both the Japanese and Western versions of the games. GameCube is also the second home console to have a Medarot game after the PlayStation.
