Rokusho (KWG00-M)
This page describes the Medarot model found in Medarot DS onwards. For other Rokusho models, see Rokusho. For information on the character itself, see Rokusho (character).
Rokusho (ロクショウ), sometimes referred to by its model name Head Scissors (ヘッドシザース), is the original stag beetle-type Medarot. The model number KWG00-M specifically refers to the version of Rokusho that appears in Medarot DS and all subsequent games.
Description
This version of Rokusho is essentially the same as the KWG-0 model used by Hikaru in Medarot 1, but features a new model number and is usually paired with KBT00-M Metabee, which resembles Ikki's KBT-1 more. This version has dark blue color accents, and lacks the purple tint and extra colored parts seen on Ikki's KWG-1 Rokusho (the version appearing in the anime series).
Like other Rokusho models, this Rokusho is a melee-oriented Medarot based on a stag beetle, with large antennae on its head representing the beetle's pincers. It can use both slashing and bludgeoning attacks, as well as scanning the battlefield using its antennae. Its KBT-type counterpart is the KBT00-M model of Metabee.
In the games
The KWG00-M version of Rokusho is the player's starter Medarot in the Kuwagata versions of Medarot DS, 7, 8, Dual, and Girls Mission. It can only be obtained in the Kabuto version by trading parts or by winning link battles.
Like other versions of Rokusho, it has a Scan action on its head, a Sword attack on its right arm, and Hammer on its left.
In Medarot DS
At the beginning of the game, after Azuma sees his friends Chitose and Taruto defeated by The Willows, his dog leads him home and points him to a Kuwagata Medal sitting in his dad's office. Azuma decides to borrow the Medal, and quickly runs off to purchase a Tinpet and parts from Ikki, who works at the local convenience store. Although Azuma doesn't have quite enough money, Ikki makes an exception and sells him Rokusho's parts at a discount after seeing the Medal he brought with him. After being shown how to assemble his new Medarot, Azuma runs back to the park to win back Chitose and Taruto's parts.
In Medarot 7
In contrast to Medarot DS, Azuma receives Rokusho along with a Tinpet and a Kuwagata Medal in a package sent from his father, who is working away from home. Azuma assembles it on his own, but finds that it still doesn't work, so he takes it to Ikki at the local convenience store who helps him update his Medarotch App and shows him the basics of how to Robottle.
In Medarot Dual
Rokusho is first introduced as the Medarot the player must use for their MMF qualification test. After you pass the test and join the MMF, he is assigned to you as your partner Medarot, despite his complaints about being paired up with a beginner.
In Medarot 9
Unlike previous Kuwagata version games where Rokusho was usually the player's starting Medarot, Medarot 9 features Rokusho in an antagonistic role. It is exclusive to the Kuwagata version of the game, and the Kabuto version features KBT01-M Metabee in its place.
