Stabshrike (スタブシュライク) is a shrike-type Medarot that appears in Medarot 9.

Description[edit]

Stabshrike is based on a shrike, a small predatory bird that impales its prey on sharp objects. Following this inspiration, Stabshrike features flight-type legs and long metal stakes on its chest and arm parts, which it can thrust forward at high speed to "impale" its opponents.

The name of its leg part (One-Two-Oh) may be a reference to the bull-headed shrike appearing on the Japanese 120 yen stamp. Its MOZ model number comes from "mozu" (モズ), which is the Japanese word for shrike.

In Medarot 9[edit]

Stabshrike is a flying-type Medarot that uses the newly-introduced Pile attack on its head and arm parts. Its legs are highly mobile and have the "Bloodstain" ability, which increases the power of its attacks by 3 every time it destroys an enemy part (for a maximum of +15). The legs cannot support any heavy parts, but its right arm attack can use the CF attack sub-skill. It can be battled as a stray Medarot in the mountain trail area.
